Koko Kanu - #AddSomeAdventure

Made from 100% Jamaican rum, Koko Kanu is infused with coconut flavour and is the UK’s leading premium-flavoured white rum.

 

Inspired by 1950s Jamaica, the Frequent Flyers Cocktail Club was Koko Kanu’s flagship campaign, taking Londoners back to an era of rustic elegance and lustful adventure.

At each bar, Koko Kanu unveiled new coconut twists on classic cocktails that will transport guests to sunnier climes.


 
 

To unlock a ticket to the “Frequent Flyers Cocktail Club”, guests simply need to show off their past holiday snaps at their closest bar stop.

By showing off their past adventures, city-dwellers will redeem a Koko Kanu passport and map, giving them two complimentary servings. 

With these in hand, guests were all set to travel between bars and imbibe around the world in seven globally-inspired cocktail bars.

Our campaign strategy centred on allowing participants to #addsomeadventure to their lives. With the support of our partner agency, we produced the headline campaign film guiding the audience on a journey through the 6 worldly cocktails on offer.

Our work involved formulating the film story, character development and social execution.

This film was launched across social media and brought together all the offline mechanics into a tiered social media release, taking the audience through their own digital voyage. 


 

#AddSomeAdventure resulted in 17.5k drink trials, an uplift of over 8k bottle sales and over 3.5k pieces of user-generated content through reviews and social media posts.
